Meet Demi! This gorgeous girl is all legs right now and doesn't quite know where her feet are at all times. She will be on the larger side when she fills out more but right now she is all puppy. Demi's coat was shaved down before we got her. Demi spent most of her life regulated to the backyard and as such she has never had to learn household manners! She is a quick learner though! She walks well on a leash and has been crate trained. She is learning not to climb into people, furniture, or counters. She is also learning how to sit before being let in/out and before eating or getting petted. We are also working on "Down" and "Stay" Demi loves other dogs and is a submissive female.
Right now she is sharing her home with three other mastiffs and a miniature dachshund. She prefers smaller dogs to the big dogs! This girl also ignores her feline house mates. She adores children but she doesn't realise how big she is now and tends to knock them over. I think she would be best in a home with children over the age of five who are use to bigger dogs. She needs a patient new family that will take the time to teach her the manners that will make her a wonderful example of a canine companion. She has a high drive to please but can be stubborn with certain issues. This girl prefers the company of people over other dogs. She is a clingy puppy who seems to always want to be touching someone. Demi has been spayed. She is updated on her shots including bordetella. She has also been tested heart worm and valley fever negative! She has also been micro chipped.
We do require an adoption application, home check, adoption contract and adoption fee!
