Max
It was one year ago (September 2nd, 2006) that we
adopted Max from ALGBR, and it has been a
wonderful year for Max and his forever parents.
We’ve been through many exciting and memorable
events since we adopted Max, that it is not possible
to mention them all in this update. Max has excelled
at Dog Obedience training (in fact it was great fun for Max, though I think it was his
parents that were trained the most!). He’s become completely house-trained and
has full roam free access to the entire house now. He’s learnt to swim and loves
to do a couple of laps in the pool after most walks morning and night. After a
swim, he takes great delight in shaking off pool water near his parents, just so
they can spend a few more minutes outside with him as he gets dry! Max has
great fun at the off-lease dog park and really enjoys romping around and playing
with the other dogs in the dog park, such that he’s quite the popular dog there
now!
Recently, Max raised over $650 for Breast Cancer Awareness by completing a
sponsored walk and in doing so, beating all but 9 humans out of 1000 in money
raised for the event, including his forever parents. Adopting Max from ALGBR is
one of the best things that have happened to his parents. Max is an absolute joy!
He is a very happy dog, and is full of unconditional love for his forever parents.
He has made such a difference in our home and in our lives and he’s a very big
part of our family. Attached are a few photographs of Max.
