Bucket
Hi! My name is Bucket!! I am a six year old black lab mix girl and I am waiting
for my forever family to find me! I know my name is strange, but when I was a
puppy my family jokingly called me “Bucket” and I came running, so it stuck!
I am a very good girl, I know all of the basic obedience commands and I also
give high-fives! I am 100% trustworthy in the house and can be left unattended
for as long as you like. I am crate trained as well, but it is not necessary to have
a crate for me.
I go with the flow and would be willing to take long walks or runs with you, or
simply to hang out by your side. On walks, I enjoy carrying my backpack with
water for us. It makes me feel important when I have that job!
I am friendly and energetic when I meet other dogs, and get along with them in
a play setting. I could live with another dog as long as our personalities were a
fit, but I would probably do best living as the only dog in the house. I like cats
and don’t chase or bug them.
I love kids and enjoy playing with them, but I am a big and energetic dog, so
older children will suit me best. I have a med-high energy level when meeting
new people and going out for walks etc. When settled in my home I am lower
energy and enjoy just chillin’ out.
I am an all around wonderful companion dog and would love to find a family
that has lots of love to give me. I will give it back ten-fold! If you are interested
