DJ
DJ and Lady are a wonderful pair. They play
well together and it is apparent that they are
young. They enjoy activity but seem to not
yet know what to do with toys and treats. We
are working on this. They like to rough house
with each other and with us if we let them...
they just need to be reigned in a little. They
are awesome in the car and slept most of the
way home. They have yet to bark after two
days! They enjoy sleeping on the floor, on a
dog bed or in our bed. Once they settle down
they sleep. If you get up and move around
they will show you where to go. They seem
open to learning. Today they seem to have
'SIT' down well. We're working on 'OFF' next.
They are great with children. They are very gentle overall. They are also great
on leash, they pull a little but some minor dog training would almost surely
correct this. They do not seem too bothered by other dogs. Lady prefers male
dogs DJ doesn't mind any other dogs.
They LOVE to give kisses and will do so if you sit down with them. They love
belly and back rubs. They do not spook easily. (I had a bucket drop and made
a loud noise but this didn't phase them).
They are completely non-aggressive about removing food or touching it.
We met a cat on our walk. All I can say is DJ was more interested than Lady but
neither got their fur up about it.
