Eileen is our 3 year old black girl. She has been in foster for a couple of months to let her learn trust and to become a happy girl. When Eileen came to us she wasn't comfortable in the house. She was timid and shy and wasn't interested in people. She found a corner of the house that she claimed as her safe place. Any loud noises or fast movement would send her to her safe place. From the beginning she was most comfortable with other dogs, but there was another side to Eileen. When she was out in the yard with tennis balls, she would come to life and chase tennas balls as long as you would throw them. She LOVES tennis balls and other dogs. Spending time with 5 other dogs helped her to learn to trust people and warm up to her foster parents. She is very gentle and submissive. Eileen is now spending her nights sleeping on a doggie bed in the bedroom. She loves her walks, but most of all she loves her tennis ball time. She's very athlethic and fast. She would make a great running partner or another companion dog for a dog that likes to play. In Eileen's best interest, we are looking for a home with at least 1 other non dominant dog and no small children. The fast movements and loud noises would send Eileen to her safe place. In a gentle, quiet home, she thrives and continues to grow. She's a smart girl and is anxious to please. Eileen is looking for her forever home.
