Hi! My name is Higley and I would love
to meet you! I am beautiful yellow lab
boy that is a little over one year old. I
like meeting new people of all kinds
and get along well with kids, cats and
other dogs.
As a young dog, I have a lot of energy,
but with a good exercise routine, I settle in nicely. I enjoy walking, swimming
and chasing balls but I am still working on bringing the ball back! I know basic
commands like sit, down and shake. I try to “stay” but I am young and it’s
really hard to sit still! I am learning leash manners and walk very well once I am
reminded to stay by your side a couple of times. My foster mom lets me know
that she is very proud to have such a gorgeous gentleman along side her when
we walk.
I like to be wherever my foster mom is, and I follow her from room to room
throughout the day. I also enjoy getting my belly rubbed a lot! I am house
trained but my foster mom crates me when she leaves the house. I do not like
the crate though, but she says it’s the best thing for me so after a while of
fussing I quiet up. At night I like to sleep in the dog bed and I don’t have any
accidents.
My foster mom says that I am adorable and she calls me a “good boy” all the
time. I like that a lot!
