Madison
Madison is a sweet black female lab. She is
almost 5 years old but acts like a younger
girl. She has already rebounded from her spa
day, er vet visit, vet visit where she got her
teeth freshly cleaned, nails clipped and
spayed. She loves to hang out with us and
even slept with me last night. She slept
through the night and was very snuggly. She
likes to run around the yard although we are
limiting her activity this week.
She is house trained and does go into a crate okay. She isn't thrilled about it
but I am guessing she didn't spend much time in one. When we let her have
run of the house, she doesn't get into anything. Her appetite was picking up
this morning.
She has nice hair - very soft! She also has the cutest little cropped tail that is
almost always wagging. We are told that her mother belonged to a hunter and
her tail was cropped to go through the bushes. However she never went to a
home for hunting. I have heard she loves to play with a ball in the yard. She
seems to enjoy being in the car and always wants to lead me that way. I'm not
sure where she'd like to go just yet.
She gets along well with her foster brother Tux and I hear she's great with
other dogs as well as children. She did chase a cat in the yard today but I don't
know if she wanted to eat it or just say hi :)
We'll have more content as soon as we get to know her a little better. Overall a
VERY sweet girl who would make a great addition to any family.
