Moose
Moose is a 2 year old yellow lab. He is
a rich golden color and oh so
handsome. He is a pretty tall boy with
an athletic build.
He loves to go for walks and enjoys
playing at the dog park. He is a medium
energy lab that won’t have any
problems keeping up with an active
family, but he also enjoys passing out on his soft dog bed with his legs in the
air!
He is great with the kids in his foster home and doesn’t ever jump up on
them. He gets along well with his cat foster-sister. The family cat enjoys
playing with dog-feet and he is very patient with her.
He likes to be a part of the family and will follow people from room to room so
he can relax where they are. He enjoys being affectionate and will give
kisses if you let him. He will also crawl into your lap if you let him!
He enjoys a game of fetch and will bring the toy back to you and drop it when
you ask him to. He is very obedient and smart and can be taught things very
quickly. The video shows him learning how to “leave” a dog treat on his paw,
this takes a lot of concentration and patience.
He doesn’t have access to a pool in his foster home, but we are guessing he
is a swimmer because he jumped into the bathtub that was being filled up the
other night! After we got him out the first time he tried to join his foster sister
in the bath a few minutes later. So, we imagine that he is most likely a water
loving dog!
He is fun to be around and just a big love bug!
