Nemo
Nemo is a sweet chocolate boy that is just looking for love.
He was unfortunately left outside 24x7 and as a result his
coat suffered. It became faded and dry. While in foster we
have been working on it and most of the dead hair has been
coming out, replaced by a softer, brown coat.
Nemo gets along with big dogs but since he was an outside
dog 24x7 he is too interested in small dogs and cats.
He is in foster with 2 other labs and could care less that they
are there. He just wants to be by your side and play with a
toy. He will carry his toy everywhere. He is good with kids
and rides well in the car.
Nemo is house broken and does know some commands, (sit,
stay, come, wait). He simply wants to please you. He is 6
years old but absolutely does not act like a six year old. I, his
foster mom, have a hard time believing he is 6. He is active
and lives to play fetch, he will follow you everywhere and
likes to go for walks. He will play with the water coming from
the hose (chase it, jump at it) but hasn’t tried to go in the pool.
He is completely trustworthy and housebroken. He sleeps all
night loose in the house either on the dog bed or on the floor
next to your bed. The only time he barks is when someone
comes to the door or rings the doorbell. He has been a low
maintenance foster.

chocolate boy who is looking for a family to call his own who
will spoil him the way he should have been all his life.
