Hello! My name is Ramsey! I am a 5 month old Chocolate Lab/Springer
Spaniel mix that was rescued from a really bad situation but am really
thriving and loving life now!
I am house trained (Foster Mom is training me to ring the bell. They don’
t have a doggie door so I sit at the door and hope someone sees me).
When I go potty outside, I know that I’m going to get a Cheeseball as a
treat – I even go sit and stare at the container when I come back in. But
if I don’t go potty – I walk right by the cheeseballs…I’m pretty darned
smart, ya know!
I am crate trained during the day and sleep in my Foster parents
bedroom on the doggie bed at night. If they would let me, I would sleep
with THEM but they won’t let me. I sometimes sneak on the bed when
Mom is sleeping, she doesn’t know I’m there. Wouldn’t YOU love to
have a snuggle bug sleeping with you? A couple of kisses and I lay
down and go to sleep!
I get along with kitties, but I do chase them. I don’t want to hurt them, I
am just so excited that someone is smaller than me. Mom tells me
“Ramsey, leave it” and I’m usually pretty good!
I am a pretty mellow puppy for my age but I WILL get spurts of energy
and get all silly! I LOVE to run and play hard outside. I love to poke my
four legged brother and sister with my nose and then run like crazy! We
have so much fun chasing each other – and Foster Mom and Dad laugh
at us all the time. Sometimes I forget that my brother and sister are over
85 pounds and I’m only 35 pounds…but I like to play with the “big
boys”. Watch my video – I’m sure you’ll get some chuckles too….
Foster Mom is working on trying to get another video but can’t seem to
catch ME in action very good….could be because I poke, tuck my tail
and run like crazy it’s hard to keep up with me.
I like to chew but I haven’t chewed on ANYTHING that I’m not allowed
to. When Mom goes to work she gives all of us a Nylabone with peanut
butter on it. BOY are THOSE YUMMY treats!!!! And the peanut butter
helps my coat stay smooth and shiney too! Love, love LOVE peanut
butter! Oh – and I LOVE ice cubes too! I get those after I have been
running around outside and get hot. Mom has tried me with carrots but
I’m not a big fan of veggies - YET
Did I mention I LOVE SNUGGLES and KISSES?! I have fallen asleep in
Mom’s arms just like a baby. I LOVE to give lots of kisses and would
only ask that you give me kisses and hugs back. You won’t need a
shower after I get done kissing you. I am loving, silly and just plain fun
to be around. I am young enough I will fit in ANY family but would really
love to have another dog friend to play with. Could you be my new
family? I would love to meet you in person and watch you fall head
over heels in love with me!
