Romeo is an 8-9 month old chocolate lab mix that was rescued from a local shelter. He was scared and alone and had been there for several weeks. Romeo is a wonderful, sweet dog who just needs someone that will provide a safe and loving home to help him regain his confidence.
Romeo is making wonderful progress in his foster home. He has become very comfortable with his foster family and loves to play with his four-legged foster sisters. He has been very well behaved around the house and with small children. He has really learned to become part of a family and will just melt your heart with his expressive eyes and floppy ears.
Romeo is housebroken and has been crate-trained. He is still quite the puppy, so he will need a family who understands how to manage all the responsibilities of puppy hood. He has learned how to "sit" and "shake", but will need further training as most puppies do. Romeo is a very smart dog and picks up things very quickly. He has lots of energy and will need an active family to give him lots of exercise to keep his mind active. Currently, we are working on leash training and getting Romeo more socialized to people and new situations.
