Tux
Tux is a great dog! He's only one a half years old and
loves to run around and go for walks, and even does
well on bike rides. Even though he likes to be on the
go, he relaxes when his foster family does. He sleeps
through the night in our room and takes naps during
the day. He loves to eat and will never miss a meal. He
is still a bit underweight but working hard to put it on.
He's got a great big head and big feet so he'll probably
grow some more from where he is now.
Tux loves to chew on bones, rope toys and plush dog
toys. He is housebroken and never had an accident.
He has been inside for 8-9 hours at a time. He is crate
trained as well! He isn’t a barker, but will let you know
when there is another dog he sees and wants to play
with. He does get along with most other dogs but
prefers females. He loves to play with other dogs and
would probably do well in a home with another female
dog. He has not shown any aggression.
Tux enjoys rides in the car,and loves hanging his head
out the window. Tux is EXTREMELY smart. He learns
quickly and would definitely benefit from training classes with his forever
home. He knows basic commands like come and sit. We are working on 'STAY'
and 'DOWN'. He is very food motivated which helps with training, but he learns
without food as well.
